PRESYS Dry Block Temperature Calibrators TA-25N, TA-35N and TA-50N generate temperature in the insert in order to calibrate thermocouples, RTDs, glass thermometers, thermo-switches. Besides providing high accuracy temperature values, it also allows the measurement of signals generated by the thermo-element which is being calibrated. This is possible due to an embedded calibrator specific for these types of signal, including 4-20 mA. Thus, they incorporate the functions of dry block, standard thermometer and calibrator for RTD, TC and mA.
The dry well calibrator also provides an input for an external probe to perform the temperature control from a standard sensor (optional) inserted in the same measuring zone of the sensor to be calibrated, increasing the accuracy and decreasing setpoint errors and loading effects. The standard sensor calibration curve follows the parameterization of Callendar-Van Dusen.
PRESYS TA-25N / TA-35N / TA-50N Dry Block Calibrator Features:
- TA-50N generates the coolest temperature provided by a dry block. It reaches –50 ºC in an ambient temperature of 23 ºC, with no need of well insulator and no need to place it in a low temperature room.
- Optional temperature measurement and control by external probe with Callendar-Van Dusen coefficients.
- Accuracy of up to ±0.1 ºC with the internal reference, ±0.07 ºC with the external probe or ±0.05 ºC using an external thermometer such as Presys Super Thermometer PT-511.
- Resolution of 0.01 ºC.
- Stability of ±0.02 ºC for the entire range of temperature.
- Input for RTD, thermocouples and thermoswitches.
- Internal regulated 24 Vdc power supply and mA input for 2-wire transmitters.
- External reference thermometer not necessary.
- Completely automatic calibration with or without the use of a computer.
- Documenting capabilities: connection with computer and ISOPLAN-5 calibration software.
- Portable, compact, with carrying case and interchangeable inserts.
