The Megger MIT1025/2 is a 10 kV insulation resistance tester engineered for high-voltage electrical testing in demanding industrial and power distribution settings. Part of the Advanced series, this instrument provides engineers and technicians with the reliability and precision required for comprehensive diagnostics on assets like cables, transformers, circuit breakers, and motors. This tester excels in electrically noisy environments, featuring up to 6 mA of noise rejection to deliver stable and accurate measurements. The MIT1025/2 is equipped with a full suite of diagnostic tests, including Polarisation Index (PI), Dielectric Absorption Ratio (DAR), Dielectric Discharge (DD), Stepped Voltage (SV), and Ramp testing. For enhanced efficiency, the patented PI Predictor function provides an estimated PI value in as little as three minutes, significantly reducing test time on-site.

Safety is a core design principle, with a CAT IV 600 V rating up to 3000 m providing a high level of user protection. The instrument also features multiple voltage warnings and locking test leads to prevent accidental disconnection. Test voltages are user-definable from 100 V up to 10 kV, offering the flexibility needed for various applications.
