Four modes are available for receiver tracing.
The 2062R Receiver has two methods for detecting signals in wires and cables: passive tracing without a transmitter for non-contact voltage detection, and active tracing with a transmitter for all other modes. The receiver’s tip sensor is designed to trace wires in corners, tight spaces, and junction boxes.
- Smart Sensor mode for energised wire detection and visualisation on the large color LCD
- Tip Sensor mode for more precise detection of a wire
- Breaker mode for easy breaker and fuse identification based on the highest recorded signal detected from the transmitter
- Non-Contact Voltage Detection mode to trace energised wires without the use of the transmitter
Three transmitter power modes
The 2000T Transmitter is capable of working on energised and de-energised circuits up to CAT IV 600 V. It offers high, low, and loop modes that allow adjusting the strength of the induced signal to obtain precise tracing results based on the specific circuit requirements. Experience enhanced accuracy and reliability with the 2000T Transmitter for your circuit tracing needs.
- High mode for normal energised and de-energised circuits
- Low mode for precision tracing with a low signal to reduce coupling to nearby wires and metal objects
- Loop mode for closed loop de-energised circuits
Two transmitter output frequencies
The 2000T system effortlessly detects the power state and intelligently adjusts its output frequency between 6 kHz or 33 kHz. Experience optimal performance with this cutting-edge technology.
Eight receiver sensitivity levels
Having multiple sensitivity levels provides greater flexibility and accuracy for tracing tasks. Enhancing versatility and precision in tracing through increased sensitivity levels.
Complete kit
The Fluke 2062 Advanced Pro Wire Tracer Kit is a convenient all-in-one solution for tracing wires and circuits. It includes essential accessories like test leads, test probes, outlet adapters, and alligator clips to connect the transmitter to electrical systems. For accurate results, it’s recommended to connect the transmitter directly to a bare conductor using the provided alligator clips and test leads. In situations where a direct connection is not possible, you can use the included i400 AC Current Clamp with the “Loop” mode to induce a boosted 6 kHz signal through the insulation. The kit also features a magnetic hanger strap, batteries, and a sturdy carrying case for easy storage and transportation. Upgrade your wire tracing capabilities with the Fluke 2062 Advanced Pro Wire Tracer Kit today!
