The MI 3281 Winding Resistance Analyser (WR Analyser) is a portable test instrument designed to diagnose the winding resistance of single and three phase transformers with manual or automatic tap changer tests and demagnetization features. Backed by rigorous standards such as IEC 60076-1, IEC 61869-2, IEEE C57.12.90, IEC/EN 61010-1 and others, the WR Analyser offers selectable test current up to 20 A with 4.3” color LCD display featuring touch screen for easy readability of results. With built-in help screens and automatic winding resistance tests of transformers with On-Load or No-Load Tap Changer, the analyser also features automatic discharge, EMERGENCY STOP switch and the ability to store test results on the instrument. Moreover, with PC SW Metrel ES Manager for creation of test structures and uploading/downloading of test results, Auto Sequence® editor and report generation are available as well. With applications such as power distribution and industrial installations that aid in transformer ratio, winding resistances and fault currents with hot factor diagnosis, the WR Analyser weighs 9.3 kg (with batteries and accessories) and has a dimension of 470 X 190 X 370 mm. Perfect for electrical equipment measurement, control and laboratory use, the WR Analyser is an ideal tool for diagnosing winding resistance of transformers.
