HIOKI FT3425 Lux-Light Meter with Bluetooth

The FT3425 is a light meter designed for a wide variety of applications, including illumination equipment, lighting work, and facility management.

The FT3425 can even test LED lights, and it is equipped with five measurement ranges, ranging from 20 lx to 200 000 lx, allowing it to measure luminance levels at a wide range of luminance levels, andIt is equipped with Bluetooth® wireless technology.

How to measure lumens with a lux meter: Conducting Multi-Point Testing with the Extension Cart, An Easy Way to Conduct Lighting Inspections

A Z5023 Extension Cart is used to support the FT3424 and FT3425 Lux Meters, as it has casters to greatly improve the efficiency of multi-point light inspections.

To perform final building inspections for proper illuminance, normally two inspectors are required, and one is required to stand and crouch repeatedly to capture the correct data. By allowing just one technician to complete a job without physical burdens, the Z5023 saves time and effort.

Key Features

Measured illuminance data is automatically transmitted via Bluetooth® to smartphones and tablets.
Compatible with LED or OLED lighting.
Complies with DIN 5032-7:1985 class B and JIS C 1609-1:2006 general AA class.
The timer hold feature enables you to take measurements remotely while avoiding shadows and reflections.
You can save up to 99 measured values in the internal memory of the instrument, then transfer them to a computer later for greater efficiency.
Hioki’s free app “GENNECT Cross” lets you transfer data to tablets and smartphones.

Features

Conduct lighting inspections more efficiently with Bluetooth wireless technology

This Hioki FT3425 Lux Meter is equipped with Bluetooth wireless technology, allowing you to inspect, record, and generate reports of lux data using the free GENNECT Cross mobile app, drastically cutting the amount of time you spend on things like data entry. The issues of not having enough time to test multiple locations or create accurate reports containing a large amount of data are no longer an issue.

Dramatically reduce illuminance testing work times!

Reducing illuminance testing work times by a great deal!

The FT3425 features Bluetooth® wireless technology that can be used with the GENNECT Cross smartphone app for robust support at each stage of the illuminance testing process, which includes taking measurements, recording results, and creating and submitting reports. Saving measured values on a completion drawing or photo taken with your smartphone can dramatically reduce the amount of time it takes to perform multipoint measurements, such as during electrical and lighting completion testing.

Create reports instantly with the free GENNECT Cross app

You can check and manage measurement results and create reports using GENNECT Cross, a free app designed specifically for Hioki measuring instruments.

In addition to photographing measurement sites, placing measurement results on photographs, and saving handwritten notes, the software offers a range of functionality for managing data in the field.

Repeated measurements are a breeze since there’s no need to squat down!

You won’t need to squat down again for repeated measurements!

This optional Extension Cart Z5023 has casters for easy mobility. By allowing the instrument to be moved without having to squat down, the physical burden associated with making repeated multipoint measurements is greatly reduced.

Measure illuminance free of the effects of shadows

1. Timer hold function

The measured value is retained after a user-configured period of time has passed since the time the TIMER key was pressed. In this manner, you can time lux meter measurements to occur after you have stepped away from the meter so that clothing and shadows will not affect the measurements.

Timer settings:

Select from 5 / 10 / 15 / 20 / 30 / 45 / 60 sec.

After the set time has elapsed, the measured value is retained. → The backlight turns on and the beep sounds for 3 sec.

2. Measurement with sensor and display units undocked

Displays and sensors can be undocked for more convenient use. Simply connect them with the Connection Cable L9820 (option).
