<p>The R&#38;S NGU201 &#38; R&#38;S NGU401 Source Measure Units (SMUs) enable simultaneous sourcing and measuring of currents and voltages with high precision.</p>
<p>The two-quadrant R&#38;S NGU201 addresses wireless device battery tests and automatically switches from source mode to sink mode at a defined positive input voltage.</p>
<p>The four-quadrant R&#38;S NGU401 can also switch at negative voltages, supporting source measurements for a vast range of power supply types.</p>
<p>Thanks to their extremely high accuracy and fast load recovery time, <strong>the R&#38;S NGU source measure units </strong><strong>(SMU) are perfect for challenging applications. </strong></p>
<p>A special ammeter design is used to precisely measure current drains from nA to A in one pass – no need to make multiple measurement sweeps. The instruments’ short recovery times enable them to handle fast load changes that occur, for example, when mobile communications devices switch from sleep mode to transmit mode.</p>
<p>With high speed data acquisition, every detail is detected down to 2 μs resolution. The R&#38;S NGU source measure units provide two- or four-quadrant architecture, allowing them to function both as a source and a sink to simulate batteries and loads.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The R&amp;S NGU source measure units (SMU) are the right choice for challenging applications. They are used in R&amp;D labs and integrated into production test systems.</p>
<p>The NGU SMUs include six current ranges from 10 µA with 100 pA resolution, to 10 A with 10 µA resolution. For all ranges, accuracy up to 0.025 % is achieved. Voltage is measured with 10 µV resolution in the 20 V range and 1 µV resolution in the 6 V range.</p>
<p>For the typical measurement problem of capacitance at the input to the device under test, the R&amp;S NGU features a variable capacitance mode adjustable in steps from 1 µF to 470 µF, compensating the capacitance, so that the current is displayed as if it was measured directly at the device under test. Devices up to 20 V, 8 A, and 60 W are all supported.</p>

<p>Maintaining the operation of RF communications systems requires fast identification of any defects in the system components. The R&amp;S ZNH is a multifaceted handheld vector network analyzer that helps on-site field engineers remedy defective components detected in the system.</p>
<p>The basic version of the R&amp;S ZNH can perform one-port cable and antenna measurements and four S-parameter measurements up to 26.5 GHz.</p>

<p>The R&amp;S ENV216 two-line V-network is based on air-core inductances and contains an artificial hand.</p>
<h4 class="text"><span class="web1_cyan">Switch-selectable high pass filter of 150 kHz</span></h4>
<p>To prevent the measuring receiver from being overdriven by low-frequency spectra of high level, a 150 kHz highpass filter can be cut in.</p>
<h4 class="text"><span class="web1_cyan">Built-in 10 dB attenuator pad</span></h4>
<p>To ensure standard impedance irrespective of the receiver input attenuation, the R&amp;S ENV216 is equipped with a 10 dB attenuator pad.</p>
<h4 class="text"><span class="web1_cyan">Built-in pulse limiter (can be switched off)</span></h4>
<p>A built-in pulse limiter which can be switched off protects the receiver input.</p>
<h4 class="text"><span class="web1_cyan">Remote control with TTL levels (compatible with Rohde &amp; Schwarz measuring receivers)</span></h4>
<p>TTL control inputs that can be driven by controllers and Rohde &amp; Schwarz measuring receivers are provided for remote control in automatic test systems (phase selection and activation of highpass filter). Optocouplers prevent pick-up of external disturbance.</p>

Note that high leakage currents are produced because of the standard design of these V-networks. The networks should therefore be connected to a low-impedance protective earth system. <p>The R&amp;S HM6050 Two Line Impedance Stabilization Network (LISN)is used as a reproduction of supply networks in order to be able to carry out the line-bound interference emissions as part of measurements and tests for electromagnetic compatibility (EMC).</p>
<p>The HM6050 suppresses high-frequency interference from the supply network, establishes a standardized impedance for the device under test, and decouples the high-frequency radio interference voltages from the device under test in order to be able to supply it to a spectrum analyzer or EMI receiver.</p>
<p>The R&amp;S HM6050 is a single-phase V-network simulation for the frequency range from 9 kHz to 30 MHz (according to CISPR 16) and is suitable for maximum currents up to 16A</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The R&amp;S SMW200A is the ideal generator for digitally modulated signals required for the development of new wideband communications systems, the verification of 4G and 5G base stations or in the aerospace and defense sector.</p>
<p>The I/Q modulation bandwidth of up to 2 GHz with internal baseband satisfies fourth and fifth generation standards (e.g. 5G, LTE-Advanced and IEEE802.11ac/ad), and the R&amp;S SMW200A is designed to meet future requirements. Its modular scalable architecture allows users to optimize the generator to their applications and to upgrade it as required.</p>
<p>A second RF path can be added, as well as a maximum of two baseband and four fading simulator modules – without compromising signal quality. As a result, the R&amp;S®SMW200A can create signal scenarios that previously required multiple instruments or could not be implemented at all. From MIMO up to 8&#215;2 and LTE-Advanced carrier aggregation including fading to multistandard radio – never before has an instrument offered such high class signal generation capability.</p>
<p>If more than two RF paths are required, additional R&amp;S SGMA signal generator modules can be connected. The intuitive, touchscreen based operating concept provides the user with an overview of measurements, no matter how complex, and quickly delivers the desired results.</p>
<h3>Versatile configuration</h3>
<p>Thanks to its modular design, the R&amp;S SMW200A can be equipped with the exact options required for a specific application. Any configuration is possible, from a classic single-path vector signal generator to a multichannel MIMO receiver tester.</p>
<p>The generator can be equipped with a maximum of two internal baseband modules and four fading simulator modules. It is also possible to install a second RF path. This concept yields two full-featured vector signal generators in a single unit, so that even complex signal scenarios (e.g. wanted signal + interferer, dual cell, TX/RX diversity) can be created easily.</p>
