<p>The Reed R5005 Help Function The Help Function provides on-screen information about a button, menu, or selected function. While operating the meter, press the function button under &#8220;HELP&#8221; to open an information window that lists topics covering the functions and modifiers that are available. Press the Function Buttons under &#8220;Next&#8221; and &#8220;Prev&#8221; to scroll through topics. Press the function button under &#8220;More&#8221; or press the up and down buttons to scroll through the information a screen at a time.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<h4 class="title">How to use Reed ST-922 (R5008) Data Holder Multimeter</h4>
<p><strong>MODE Button</strong><br />
Press the MODE button to switch between Diode/Continuity, DC/AC and Hz/%Duty and select the desired function.</p>
<p><strong>RANGE Button</strong><br />
When you will turn on this Reed Autoranging Multimeter for the first time, it will automatically goes into <strong>AutoRanging</strong> function that automatically selects the best range for the measurements being made. If you need to set-up the range manually, press the ST-922’s RANGE button. The “AUTO” display indicator will turn off. Press the RANGE button to step through the available ranges until you select the range you want. Press and hold the RANGE button for 2 seconds to exit the Manual Ranging mode and return to <strong>AutoRanging</strong>.</p>
<p><strong>DATA HOLD Button</strong><br />
When you need to freeze the readings on the display, press the DATA HOLD button to pause the reading on the indicator. HOLD will appear on the display to indicate the function. Press the DATA HOLD button to return to normal operation.</p>
<p><strong>Relative Button</strong><br />
This Reed Data Holder Multimeter comes with <strong> relative measurement</strong> feature that allows you to make voltage, current, etc; measurements relative to a stored reference value that can be stored and measurements can be made in comparison to that value. The displayed value is the difference between the reference value and the measured value. During performing any type of measurements, press the RELATIVE button to store the reading that is on the screen. The “REL” indicator will appear on the display. The display will now indicate the difference between the stored value and the measured value. Press the RELATIVE button to return to normal operation.</p>
