<h4><strong>The multipurpose solution to cable location</strong></h4>
<p>The Fluke 2042 is a professional general purpose cable locator. It is ideal for tracing cables in walls and underground, locating fuses/breakers on final circuits and locating interruptions and short-circuits in cables and electrical floor heating systems.</p>
<p>It can also be used for tracing metallic water and heating pipes. The unit is supplied as a complete kit comprising of a transmitter and receiver in a purpose-made carry case. The receiver also incorporates a torch function for working in dimly lit locations.</p>
<p>The FLUKE Cable Locator consists of a transmitter and a receiver. The signal generated by the transmitter is made of a modulated current, generating an electro-magnetic field around a conductor. This electro-magnetic field induces a voltage within the receiving coil. The induced voltage is amplified, decoded, and converted to the original signal by the receiver, and finally displayed on the screen. The connecting parameter for the transmitter during an application must be a closed current circuit.</p>

<p>The T6-1000 PRO Electrical Tester <strong>measures voltage up to 1000 V ac and current up to 200 A ac, all through the open fork and without test lead contact to live voltage.</strong><br />
Connect the black lead to ground with the included heavy-duty alligator clip, slide the wire into the open fork and see both voltage and current at the same time. On wires up to AWG 4/0 (120 mm<sup>2</sup>), carrying as much as 200 A and 1000 V ac. Even with gloves on. <strong>The Fluke T6-1000 PRO will change how you do your job.</strong></p>
