The Reed FS-200 non-contact infrared (IR) thermometers is a handheld instruments with built-in laser pointer and visual indicators for both normal and exceeded temperature. Reed FS-200 was built for accurate and repeatable measurements, to meet food service industry requirements. With a good 0.1°C resolution and quick response time, FS-200 IR thermometer  is capable of taking accurate temperatures up to 200°C.

Field of View This meter’s field of view is 8:1, meaning that if the meter is 8 inches from the target the diameter of the object under test must be at least 1 inch in size. The target needs to be larger than the unit’s spot size. The smaller the target, the closer you should be to it. When accuracy is critical, make sure the target is at least twice as large as the spot size. See below for more information, or refer to the side of your meter for the same diagram
